Whatever Works (or whtvrwrks.io) is a solo game development project that started in 2024. The project's main objective is to create casual mobile games with satisfying and rewarding gameplay loops, and with straightforward mechanics that won't make the player feel overwhelmed. But in the future the catalogue will include some more complex, story-driven games too (hopefully).
Another guiding principle of the project is that all games are created from scratch. The 2D and 3D assets, the animations, the marketing material, the music and the sound effects are all made by me. This puts me at a "competitive" disadvantage, but I thought it would be an interesting and practical way to expand my skills on all these fronts.
No man is an island, though. Some of the code (specially the shaders), the typefaces, some texture patterns and some sound samples are built upon assets released on public domain. If ever comes the day when I feel compelled to use licensed content from others, I'll be sure to credit them.
